This phone is too nice to cover up in an ugly case and htc have got it just right with this case. Most people won't even notice it is in a case , it is almost like the casemate barely there but a lot sleeker
had somehting very similar for my desire hd sinse it came out so I figured going for the same again can't hurt. Plus its cheap so no great loss if it isn't great and It will keep my phone safe until I find something better if it comes to it.
Really not a fan of the cases the actually stick on the phone, ruins the feel too much for me.
This case and others are on the official HTC Shop site, which is linked with Expansys (which is where I ordered it from because I have an account with them). There is a Purple case but I don't think it's a holey one.
Anyone know of a good leather case/pouch that can be attached to a belt for the One X. Any that people recommend or is this phone a little too big to be held in a case like this?
Got hold of my HTC clear HC700 case. Hmm, mixed feelings about it really.
It is very thin, and as such adds little bulk to the phone. It is miniscule to say the least, and as such, way over priced for what you actually get. Worth about
I thought the official one wasn't released until the 24th, but obviously not according to the above. I'm happy with the one I linked to for now, if the official one isn't great, I'll hold off, see if Otterbox release something.
The cases were released, but through Expansys here in the UK. They were gone pretty quick though, so I ordered before I got the phone.
The one you linked fits in pretty much the same way as the HTC one. The difference may be that the HTC ones are so thin, as they may possibly work in docks without removal of the cover. It's stiff, but very thin, and covers the edges about the same amount as the one you recommend
I had a Piel Frama leather case for my Desire HD. Best and well made case I have ever had for my HTC.
Bit expensive but worth it.
Now, there isn't one yet for the ONE X but they have advised that it is imminent as they need to get hold of a model to let their designers get to work. They will email me one it is ready for marketing.
Morning all
has anyone seen any good rugged cases for the one x yet, I do love the perforated cases but am quite keen for something a little bulkier, used to have a really nice one for my old Desire, and even when you stuck it face down the screen was nicely protected.
Probably going to get shot down for asking to clad my nice new one x in a big chunky case but worth an ask as I can't find much yet
I had a Case-mate Gelli case for my Desire which was on it for the whole 2 years I had it. It didn't add much bulk and protected the phone really well even after drops onto concrete.
I also had a case-mate Tough case but rarely used it because the gelli case protected it well enough (for my uses anyway).
The case-mate Barely There case was nice and I think that would be good for the onex, the phone is very tough so I think it would only need minimal protection just to stop any scratches and chips.
I've been using the TPU cases from ebay and Amazon on all my phones lately. They don't add much bulk but they tend to wrap around the front a bit more than regular silicone cases so I have high hopes for the one I ordered for my One X. My kids routinely dropped all our phones and we have never had one break even after falling screen down on concrete steps.
well tbh up till today there still isnt much case choices available for ONE X.
Since i got the phone 2 weeks ago, i've been wanting to put a case and screen protector so i've taken the plunge and ordered myself these first:
Just arrived yesterday and fits nicely, doesnt add any bulky-ness to the phone as wanted, comes with screen film as well (thought the dimension of the film just fit above the 'htc' word on the top and just covers under the button icons on the bottom side).
its almost 100% identical feeling to the SGP cases for iphone, glossy hard shell.
I got the "official" HTC leather case from Mobilefun as I had a similar one for the Desire. It is really nice and does just the job for me.
