Eris + Youtube = Fail?

Whenever I try to pull up a video I get a "sorry, video cannot be viewed" message about 90% of the time. I googled this problem and saw a petition to fix this problem, but on this forum I don't see anything about it. Is this a well known problem? It so is there a fix for it?

Also for the 2.1 users, is this still a problem in the upgrade?

Yes, it's well known on 1.5.

2.1 fixes that problem.

In all fairness to the OP the main search on the site doesn't really give you the best results when you don't know exactly what to put in. The links to search a specific part of the forum or even a single thread work a whole lot better.

I've been lurking these forums for a couple months now. I searched for YouTube and was taken to every topic but what I wanted to know. I checked the stickies but saw no mention of it (Fail!).
