Hello Transform Ultra Community.

I am having an issue with the internal clock with ClockWorkMod. When creating a back up of my Rom, the time is inaccurate by 6 hours, exactly. I would like to know if there is a way to possibly reset the internal clock to reflect the actual time? I have reinstalled ClockWorkMod and created a backup there after and still the problem persists. Is anyone else having this issue?

Thank you for reading.

Any and all assistance would be appreciated.

Hello and thank you for your response. Do you find that it effects restoring prior back ups?

no not at all...sometimes it can be confusing if you do several backups within a day or two of each other..images of different ROMS..it can be confusing remembering which backup is what ROM...but no issues other then cosmetically.. from what i understand you can rename the backup what you want as long as you dont add any spaces between the words...but i have not personally tested it

From my experience, the internal clock is set when the provider side comes up. I have verified this when I built roms for the Samsung Intercept. Until I got voice calls working, the time was wrong. After I got the provider connected so calls could be made, the time would magically be correct. Since CWM is not connected to the cell provider, my guess is that the time is not corrected by them. You could probably go to the adb console and manually change the date:

date MMDDhhmmYYYY.ss

Hopefully this will remedy the problem. I will try this possible solution as soon as I am able to. Thank you for the suggestion.
