Don't know if anyone has realized, but Sprint does not have the 3VO for sale on their website anymore, ummm!!!:s::s:
The EVO 3D on Virgin Mobile? That's an interesting rumor. If they do that, I might just change my mind about jumping ship to T-Mobile now that Google released an unlocked Galaxy Nexus.
It'd be kinda funny if they did this, actually. When I was out looking for my first Android phone last summer, the EVO 3D was the one I was pretty much convinced I would buy, until a friend told me about Virgin Mobile and the Triumph.
Yep, I just saw it, too. Here's a link: Sprint discontinues HTC EVO 3D online, limited quantities remain at retail stores - Engadget.
I'm not worried though, because i know they'll have replacements available - it just won't be brand new.
If people would just stop spend time worrying about the 3d feature, and more about how awesome this device really is... Sprint and HTC wouldn't have made this premature decision. But anyhow, I will continue to cherish mine until...
You don't know their needs, though. I have a coworker who bought a Evo 4G a week before the Evo 3D came out. I told him about it and he didn't seem interested. His Evo does what he needs it to do and he has no plans on upgrading until his contract is up, at the very soonest. Even now with the Evo 4G LTE coming, he's happy with his Evo 4G.
