Help pls (Hero email on Orange)

Hi,

this has probably been asked loads b4 but I have set up my Tiscali email and receive messages fine but when replying or try sending i get "your non local IP address is not allowed to send mail via me"
I can send fine with gmail but its still annoying me. i contacted Tiscali and they were about as much use as a chocolat fireguard!
Any1? In Lehmann's terms please

Sounds like you are using the Tiscali SMTP server to try and send email. They won't let you do this unless you are connected via their network (e.g. using wifi).

You will need to set up the SMTP (outgoing) mail server as the one that Orange provide. You can use different companies servers for outgoing and incoming, so keep using the Tiscali on for incoming email (POP or IMAP).

lol ok - then I'm not sure what sort of terms a footballer would use that are of use?
