Hi All, do anyone encounter problem with GS2 whereby initial turn ON of the phone, it shown "Safe mode" and with all your Apps icons mess up which includes setting like keyboard setting returned to default? Even after reboot of phone to defeat the safe mode, the damage (mess) still exist.

Wonder if anyone can offer me some advise....thanks in advance :)

You can go into safe mode when turning the device on.
When the splash screen shows, quickly keep pressing the menu key until the home screen is shown. If it worked you will see a "safe Mode" at the bottom left of the screen

I'm not sure what will happen on mine tho, as I have a password protected SIM.
I might give it a go now...... :)

Thanks for the important tips to give me light out of the dark tunnel of safe mode. Will take note to avoid trigger the menu button at start ON of the phone in order to avoid SAFE MODE!

Btw, notice you guys talking about root, what does that mean? Appreciates you can enlighten me with some advise and explanation? Thanks in advance!
