Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Haha, yeah, they rarely have anything too mainstream. I like the off beat movies the most but love your run of the mill comedy, rom-com, action, adventure, horror too. Wife and I love movies a ton.
Can't wait for The Avengers to come out! We're definitely seeing it at the local Imax in 3D :D

Again, I have to go to Pittsburgh for Imax. Where I live, Altoona, is a city. It's just not big enough for Imax or Indie/foreign films. My job has a shop in Pittsburgh and I might try to see if I can transfer. I would much rather live there. They just aren't very big on transfers.

As for The Avengers, I am really excited for that one. The early review are glowing :)

Pittsburgh is an interesting city. My sister had her wedding there so we spent a couple days there. We were right by Primanti Bros but knew nothing about it so we didn't go. Kicking myself for it

They do make a good sandwich, especially after a night of drinking LOL. However, you can make much better at home.

I lived in Pittsburgh for a little over year when I went to culinary school and fell in love with it. And it helps to be a huge Pittsburgh sports fan.

To continue with the movie theme, this movie could be a surprise summer hit.

We're did you go to culinary school? The restaurant I used to work at does their own version of a Primanti sandwich. Haven't had but looks interesting.

When I went there back in '95-96' it was Pennsylvania Culinary. I think it is now called The Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute? It is located on Liberty Ave, downtown. The main kitchen had big windows and anyone out and about could just stand there and watch.

Curious, but do you guys do the majority of the cooking at home as well or your partners do?

Simply put, they fight Kronos in this one. If you are a fan of Greek myth and lots of action then it's worth it. I liked it more than Clash.
That's good to hear. I didn't really like Clash much. Fighting and men in skirts can only keep a lady's attention for so long, lol.

I'd say 50/50. We each have our specialties.

Based on talking to the guys on AF for the past two years, I have come to a conclusion. 75% of those I talked to can cook. So, my conclusion is that man with Androids can cook.

Bah, I haven't cooked much of anything at home in ages. We both just work too much and I'm tired of being in a kitchen all day that it's hard to get excited about it at home. Wife doesn't cook at all. One day, I'll be able to get back to the times of less work and more time of a home cooked meal at the dinner table.
Here's a shot of the lady helping me make some truffles at home for Christmas:

Cool stuff. I went to the Culinary Institute of America and nearly all our kitchens had open windows to the hallways. There were constant tours of old ladies taking pictures and smiling. It was nerving at first but we were pretty immune to it at the end. The best was was when a group of celiacs (gluten intolerance) came into our class and we had a bunch of gluten free baked goods like breads, muffins and cookies. Some of them nearly came to tears with the fact that they hadn't had a baked good in years. It was a great day to help those out. Today, we make a huge effort in offering some of the best gluten free pizza and pasta (went through several changes in the dough and discovered a great corn based pasta from Italy) at our restaurant.
If I had that disease, I don't know if I could live. Bread and beer are my life :D

21 Jump Street. I laughed nearly the whole time.

Hunger Games is really good. As is Wrath of the Titans.

OH! I should have looked at the link first. I wish I had a theater like that around here. I would have to go to Pittsburgh to see those.

I saw The Lucky One this weekend at the Cinebistro with some girlfriends. It was really good, but a tear jerker. I was struggling to keep from outright sobbing in the theater. I don't think a movie with half naked Zac Efron could be bad, really. Leaving the theater, I was feeling a bit like a pedophile, but I'm good now...I checked, he's over 21. :D

BTW does anyone have my weight watchers app installed? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mattdonders.android.wppcalculator

I have been getting reviews (in Play Store & Amazon) about decimal point not working. On my Galaxy Nexus the keyboard displays the numbers and the decimal point and it works without error and still calculates.

Would anyone be able to test this for me on a phone running pre-4.0? Not sure if anyone here has that though, hah.

Those look so yummy!

I cook most of the dinners and the girlfriend usually helps by cutting up veggies or stuff like that, but I usually do the cooking.

Baking though is all her. She makes some awesome stuff - just last weekend she made these nutella cheesecakes, omg so good.
Recipe please!!

I'm seeing it Sunday with a girlfriend. We go see all the tear jerkers together cause no one else will see them with us. :)

Well I meet that qualification. I wonder if there is actually some significance to that, or if it is just a coincidence.

<--- Cooks too :)

Last night I prepared crockpot mushroom chicken and brussels sprouts. Granted, it was easy... but cook I did!

I can test it on my Atrix running GB at lunch time. PM me if you want me to test anything else. I don't use Weight Watcher so I'm not sure how these kind of apps should function, lol.

It just means that the next guy I date has to have an Android ;)
