When you sign up for the Muve service, you have to go to the Cricket store and they will give you the special Muve sd card for free. It is a 4 GB card I think, but you can only use 1 GB of it because the rest is partitioned for music. That's another reason I wouldn't sign up for it.

Dude...are you kidding? You have to buy "special" Muve cards? That is so dumb... Thank God I never fell into the stupid Muve hype. I enjoy the 13GB of music I have on my 16GB card, and I also enjoyed the small $22 dollar cost for the card.

I can't even fathom what CricKet charges for their cards... Must be astronomical if the cheap ass $3 cases are flippin $20.

I suppose they need to make money where they can...

They make you use that special SD card because you can't listen to that music on anything except your phone. You can't transfer the files to a computer or anywhere else. Plus the songs are in some super compressed format that only takes like 10 seconds to download a song so you can supposedly put like 3000 songs on there. That's probably the only way Cricket could make the deal with the record labels. I have a 16 GB class 10 card myself, and I would never downgrade to their crappy card with only 1 GB of useable storage. If you are rooted and do nandroid backups and backup apps with Titanium Backup, that 1 GB won't last long at all. That doesn't even count moving apps to SD, pictures, videos, etc. What a joke.

Yup... Definitely a joke. Don't get me wrong, Cricket is a pretty good service but the data caps they impose and THIS Muve Music makes you really go WTFO...
Another thing that bugs me is that they (Huawei and/or Cricket) hasn't released the source kernel yet... What, this phone has been out for... Uhmmm... 4 mos. already???
Just my. 02 cents...

Yeah, i'm not sure what's up with Huawei dragging their feet about releasing the source this time. They are usually pretty good about that.
