Any way to annotate the contents of pdf files?

For my phone iAnnotate (full version) is a paid app. Did it come pre-installed in your phone? For me the free version (iAnnotate lite) is available through Samsung Apps, with the option to upgrade to the paid version.

I am much more impressed by EZ PDF Reader than by iAnnotate. The features list for EZ PDF is huge, and it would take longer than I wish for me to list everything. Additionally, once iAnnotate was done with a file I could no longer open the file with any programs other than iAnnotate or Adobe Reader. Everything else (PDF to Go, Polaris Office, EZ PDF Reader) saw the files modified by iAnnotate as being corrupted or would open them but not show any of the annotations (Kindle Reader).

Does this differ from your experience with iAnnotate?

With EZ PDF Reader Pro, yes and yes. Best PDF viewer/editor in the market bar none.

If you download Lecturenotes, and its linked pdf app (I think its called PDF Viewer but don't have it with me and can't be sure that I have remembered it right) you can open and annotate PDFs in any number of different ways. Really useful and versatile and you will also have what is probably be the best note taking app for Android.

From what I have read (didn't try it) it doesn't have a highlighter function. Is this correct?

ZC1 - I'm not sure if you are referring to my response referring to Lecturenotes or to something else. In Lecturenotes, there are a range of standard pens (which do not include a highlighter) and it is also possible to create at least 12 non-standard pens with varying colours and transparency, which I have used to create several different highlighters. I use it a lot for reviewing long documents as pdf's.
