Help How much disk space?

On a 13GB Galaxy Tab 10.1 how much does the pre-installed software etc take up? In other words how much disk space is left for the user to use?

Since I don't own the device you list, I have no idea, but I recommend you check out the forum section devoted to your device...

13GB is what is left on a 16GB device. There is no 13GB device at all.

According to Settings------> Storage the Total space is 13.11Gb and Available space is 11.35GB (see attached image of screen grab).

Does that mean that 3GB of the 16GB available are taken up by the Tab's operating system?

Yes, 3GB system, and you have 2GB of your own files.

Not being too computer minded but 3GB to run a Tablet does seem a lot of "space". How much does a PC use or is there no difference between the operating of the 2 items?

Windows 7 takes 17GB. 3GB is not that much, just normal.
