replace TouchWiz music app for stock? (help me)

hi does someone no where I can get the stock music player so I can rm my gay touchwiz player? Also why doesnt the album art show up on 99% of my music???

I found an app called album art grabber, its 3 dollars though but works perfect!

Well first let me say I take offence to your use of the word gay.

But to be polite I will answer your question.

It depends on what you want to do. 1) you can flash your phone to the galaxy rom, that gives you stock android. or 2) use adb to remove the app from the phone in the same way other users removed Telenav/etc and get the stock music app from some place and install it. or 3) dont remove anything and just drop in the music app of your choice.

As for the album art, it has to be embedded in the tag, otherwise it wont show up. There is an app for that, but I dont know what its call. Or use Mp3Tag on your pc first to go through the tags and add in the image. Dont trust windows media player as I've seen it not add the image even though on the pc it shows up.

you should try music online thrers a free version i have it but i only use it to occasionaly downlod songs for free its almost identical to the stock and it give the lyrics automatically
I dont use it though cause I have tag and it allows you to tag all your songs and grab art so album art will show up in the twiz music player which is way better than stock

Why on god's green earth would anyone want stock android player over Samsung's player ? I will never understand this ...
WM player is great for sync_ing music with android , but like said before art has to be embedded , so you can use a program called mp3 toys to fix this on your pc , then transfer the music to your phone....

I was about to say the same thing. Also yeah I download that 3 dollar program (album graber or something) but for free, and it does wonders, and when I use the program with the album slide, it looks awesome!

i dont like that it doesnt have a search feature, i found i nice upgraded stock player that is called QissMusic! Try it out!

mp3 toys has lots of search features ,you can use web , their sever or Google images , to find your art ,its really detailed , I used the 30 day free trail to clean up my music collection n I'm now thinking of maybe purchasing ,not sure yet .... the ones on your phone usually creates it own art folder , when it fetching art , so thats why the stock music player don't find the art to display ..

try the app called mixzing it downloads all the album artwork and comes out in high res

hey paul get the rockon player i was talking about it automatically gets album artwork for you plus you can change it to one of several other band pictures/covers just by long pressing on the current album cover that is displayed. it's the one called "3" the cubed sign not the number.

+1. There's a thread or two about it on this forum as well; it has a cube interface that works really well, which is pretty funny on the BH2 Most people that try it seem to like it, and the dev has updated it pretty frequently.
