Got my update, all seems fine but I did not play around with it much.
I have used my tablet a lot since I purchased it in February without any issues. Since I have upgraded to ICS though, it does not like to wake up when it is on the charger. After charging over night for the past two days, I have had to hit the reset button on the side in order to get it to restart and wake up.
The green light is flashing on the side with the power button, but it will not wake up.
Has anyone else had this issue?
the update hasnt been made available in Canada yet, would you recommend me updating it when it does? sounds like you are having some issues. also can you confirm if it is 4.0.0 or 4.0.3 that Sony has released?
I am not sure what caused the initial issue, but after the first couple of mornings when I had to reset the tablet because it would not wake up, i have not any issues.
I would like to know how to put more (or different) apps on the hot key slot at the bottom of the screen. I have not looked for instructions yet, but have not been able to change these.
Overall my experience is getting better with ICS. I have friends that bought the Galaxy about the same time I purchased my Sony and they are regretting their decision now. My Sony does everything theirs can do and plays PS games.

really really unhappy with the update.
first impression was good, it has a bit more spring and zip to it.
but its killed or injured most of my favorite apps.
netflix now struggles to play a stream first go, and some stop, go into eternal buffer or go green. the UI also has become very unresponsive.
simcity simply doesn't load.
angry birds space occasionally goes purple or quits.
several news apps don't work quite right, worst being IGN's which crashes on launch.
given thats pretty much all i use my tablet s for - it's a disaster for me.
ICS has literally taken a product I was really very happy with and made it seem like a complete waste of money. maybe the onus is with the app developers to make their products work with the new OS, but that doesn't help me.
Not very tech savvy - but would a factory reset take me back to the original operating system version (2 something i think) ? I'm desperate to go back. is there any way?
