Hello, XDA!!!

This is the new thread and home for the Express for Evo 4G. I am pleased to bring you the best ROM ever for our phones. This is a mashup of the HTC Flyer tablet pc's ROM and the Evo3D (Shooter) ROM. I am happy to say this ROM is lightning fast and has been tweaked and had enhancements done to the sound and display to bring you a brighter more vivid screen and enhanced sound over the stock. This ROM has all the goodies from the HTC Flyer, and all the functionality of the Evo4G. It has tons of features which I will list below. Enjoy the ROM and please read the OP in entirety. We don't want to clog up the page with unnecessary discussion.

Installation:

*Must have sd partitioned and using Amon-Ra Recovery!! Link Below to the correct one to use. Rename to PC36IMG.zip
Place PC36IMG.zip on root of sd card, then power off phone and hold the vol- and power button down until hboot loads. It will automatically scan for this and ask you to flash it, flash it and then boot into recovery to assure it worked.

2.Copy ROM to root of SD card
3.Wipe all userdata/factory reset
4.Flash ROM

Is anyone else having difficulty installing it? I found a way to install it but when I try to customize the installation it gives me a bunch of reboots. I eventually found out that I need to turn it off after installation and boot up a minute afterwards. I know it said to use amon ra but is it talking about amon ra 2.3? I have ra 3.11 which shouldn't be any different.

and then add the link. it should then add the link to your post and all you need to do is delete the highlighted link and add whatever you want the link to say. i hope that makes sense. lol

On the Add items to Hoem page, the "new folder" is not a folder. How can you change to folder so u can add items inside a newly created folder?

This is what I'm trying to figure out. I really want to try this ROM but the whole thing about HAVING to partition your SD card is setting me back.

According to the developer on XDA:

"@mstrmscn - You don't have to have it partitioned but I would recommend it for faster results."

So firstly I didn't get the aroma installer. It just started installing like normal. Booted in no time (usual for me even on first boot). My internal memory was almost gone, hence why it's recommended to partition the SD card. I'm still lost as to why I didn't get the aroma installer to load. I would've gotten rid of a LOT of apps that I don't use.

I'm still getting my feet wet when it comes to roms and kernels and the way they interact. When I loaded this rom 3-4 days ago I selected the Underword kernel and I'm not happy with the way they work together. I like the rom, but there is just way to much lag time between any actions I take. This has gotten slightly better over a few days, but still too frustrating to live with.

I assume it's all(or mostly) in the kernel so I need some suggestions on what to replace it with.
