Root [Rom][5-26-12]Broken Out Spectrum 3.0 w/ Blitzkrieg Kernel

I don't use a dock, but i to have been getting random reboots. I think it's an overclock issue myself. I run mine at 1.8ghz and it' seems to handle it ok but lately it's about once a day I'll get a reboot. I did get almost 2 days without one after flashing back to stock and reflashing broken out 1.3

Can someone who is not overclocking but running the rom give some feedback weather you are getting reboots?

Hey so question, I'm on BO 1.3.1 but I don't run any CPU configuration utilities (setCPU, CPUtuner). Is it overclocked to 1.8 by default? or do I have to specify to use the higher clock speed of the kernal? When I run antutu it does report to be running at 1.8. If that is the case then I can say that I don't use the dock and still experience about one reboot a day. Yesterday it was triggered by me playing Stand-o-food 3, which is fairly intensive for the phone as far as I can tell (large datasets) and when I clicked the screen off (without exiting the app) I noticed that it did a reboot. It didn't seem to be a full reboot however as it was quicker than normal. It seemed like a hot reboot.

Also, Hi! I've been lurking but this is my first post here. I am very happy to find this dev community, I knew from the specs that this was the phone I wanted (friends tried talking me into getting the Gnex) but there wasn't very much interest in it for some reason. The devs here have made it not so painful while waiting for ICS. I love to play with the phone inwards and you guys have made that possible once again! I come from a DX and this phone blows it out of the water.

Just about every time I try to run antutu benchmark at 1836 mine reboots, usually get the best scores at 1728, been running at 1512, performance is still really good and no reboots.

Im going to scroll back on the clocking and change governors for the day and see how it goes. .
I only see to get the reboots when I have a low battery situation. Thats whats odd to me. They do seem to be hot boots as well. But on the dock it hits a boot loop and that is annoying. Take it off the dock no reboot. On the dock boot loop. I guess maybe something about having to change modes and do all the stuff it does to go into dock mode is just too much at that clock rate.

I do think its a clocking issue.

My Juice Defender Ultimate app keeps on closing without notice. It seems like the ROM is force closing it without my permission. It's quite annoying that I have to manually launch JD every time it gets force closed, which is quite often throughout the day. I've tried wiping the cache and reflashing the ROM but no luck. Same thing happens on my wife's Spectrum so I know it isn't just my phone that is doing this. Any suggestions?

If antutu is saying it's overclocked then it must be. I'm not sure if it's overclocked by default or not. i always manually set mine so never waited to see if it changes itself.

I think I'm going to tone down my clock speeds as well to see how it goes.

i had this happen when going to 1.2 ... try wiping cache... if that doesnt fix it backup everything and wipe data and cache and reflash the rom... that should straighten it out

Thank you. Wiping the cache worked like a charm. I had the issue pop up again today and it seems to stem from restoring apps from Titanium Backup. I don't know if it is restoring just the app or restoring the old data that does it yet. Once again, rebooting in recovery and wiping the cache restored the timeout function.

ok well I am currently at 35% battery and decided to run antutu again. The first time the app FC'd. I ran it again and my phone did a hot reboot. Interestingly enough, my status bar up at the top is now blank. I believe someone had mentioned this happening to them after a reboot as well. I will do a full power off and on and try running it again.

EDIT: ok well I rebooted and ran Antutu and it finished successfully this time. Although this time it only reports a CPU frequency of 1512! I haven't changed anything

i know 1.2 was not overcloked by default, but MT may have changed that for 1.3.

I have never had a reboot while running Antutu. I have only had 1 reboot ever. I have a feeling that you guys use your devices more then I do though.

Mine actually doesn't reboot in antutu when I run at 1836. I even ran it three times in a row without a reboot.

Sometimes mine doesn't either, my antutu scores can be all over the place, most consistent performance is 1.5 to 1.7, weird things start happening above that. I know each device can be different so mine just needs to be babied a little I guess! I'm fine with that, performance is still WAY better than stock!

+1 with same result.
Perfect install, 100% charged, wiped, zero apps installed except antutu and cpu pro and get a reboot every time I run antutu benchmark while overclocked at 1836. If dropped to 1728, will get no reboots and good scores.

Of course all phones will vary on result of course. LoL.

Still an excellent custom rom.

Use an app like rom toolbox or titanium backup to 'fix permissions'. You should do this first thing if you get an app that's force closing on you. 99% of the time, it resolves the problem.

Tonight my friend lol. I've got to make up a few extra zips, got tired last night lol.

woohoo! flashed the new 2.0 and in the process of setting it up now. Will give some feedback later.

I've already noticed that you can flip the notification window up faster and the icons wiggle when I long press them. Is the icons wiggling normal?
