What about rants when watching movies that involve anything to do with radiation....
This makes me sad...I'm 28....so I'm "the older". It is awesome, however, that The Avengers smashed the opening weekend record set by Harry Potter Deathly Hollows.
Probably similar to my husband's rants watching movies/tv shows about firefighters. I love the movie Backdraft, but can't watch it with him.
On another note, with my foster daughter's senior prom 5 days away, she was informed by her date today that he is no longer going to be her date. Nice. Oddly, the same thing happened to me 24 years ago. They were already planning to go with my niece, who was dateless, so chances are, they'll have more fun without the boy along, but that doesn't lessen my desire to choke the little punk.

Well obviously the little bugger doesn't know anything because anyone can see a woman raised in your house is fun and fearless.
It only gets worse geek. Pretty soon you'll be doing the "When I was a kid..." thing. Hey as I typed that I though, that could be a fun lounge thread. I think I'll give it a try.

But some of us needed to learn the bard way to make sure the lesson was firmly entrenched in our heads. Plus it makes finding that one special man that much better. That sucks. Dude needs a beating ound: If a.) you didn't live so far away and b.) I wasn't so old and wouldn't get looked at like a creepy old guy....I'd be her date. Saddens me to see what girls put up with from guys. If they had an older guy that knew the error of his ways take them on one date and show them how they really should be treated with the respect they deserve, they'd be able to choose a lot better and the guys would be forced to realize what they were doing wrong.
I think every dad should take his daughter on a couple of "dates" to set that example/standard for every teenage daughter.
That's just soooo wrong!Aww thanks. I think it's just his "revenge" that she didn't want to be in a serious relationship. She's 18 for goodness sakes, she's not ready for that. But he's 19 and wants to find someone to settle down with already. He's known for a while that she wasn't interested in being serious, but waited til now to ditch her. Jerk.
Me too - on both things!I'm not looking forward to when my daughter starts dating... but at the same time, I'd kick that guy's a** for doing that to my daughter. I am going to make sure boys are scared of me though
I already do that... and I'm only 30

True. But some of us have a good example and may have needed to go the hard way. (I have no idea who though)Oh yeah, there would still be tons of lessons to learn the hard way, but I think some of them wouldn't be SO hard with a good example.

Oh look, more bloatware on our phones...
Verizon Users Getting High-Quality Live Video Broadcasting with Color App
I started a thread as mentioned earlier. I'll see where it goes.

Oh hell, cause they don't already cram enough crap on there???

Didn't Microsoft have a huge court battle over similar practices of packaging things on their systems? Lest we forget that Verizon packages them on there and then doesn't allow removal.
Hey, if any of you have a few minutes to spare (literally 2 minutes tops), could you please fill this out:

It is for a project that I need data for.
Thanks,

I believe that was Packard Bell and it was the genesis of the term bloatware. MS got in trouble for bundling IE with Windows.
