2.1 still missing features

- Agenda view in calendar still does not like showing upcoming events. Have to change end date every time. Needs to be a setting.

- Notifications reminders still missing. Have to use 3rd party app for that. LED still does not work correctly.

- No built in bedside mode for the clock.

- GMAIL still doesn't work well.

Other than being a little faster I can't really say that it is an improvement over 1.5

I use calwidget and it shows about a week into the future (4 x 4 size).

You don't get notification reminders? I accidentally imported a sports schedule into my calendar and every single event gives me a reminder. I had to remove that calendar and reinstall it so I wouldn't be notified.

My Gmail works flawlessly. Most of the time, my phone actually gets the emails before the browser on my pc notifies me.

In the clock application on 2.1, the opening screen is for "desk clock." On that screen is a crescent moon with a star, pressing this puts the phone into a dimmed screen with only the date and time showing and the screen can be rotated sideways if you would like. Is that on the same idea as the bedside clock you want?

Kinda - I want it to do this when I plug in the charger, and I want with a much larger font. BTW, did see that when I upgraded.

Make a shortcut on the desktop and touch it. The desktop clock is better than bedside stuff I've seen because it turns off the hard buttons and only shows the clock as a screen saver. Just what I needed. But I'm sure there are some apps out there for you. Search bedside mode.
