Root overclocking stuck at 600?

my widget says max is 600 no matter what i set it at inside the application. when I go in and, say, set it to 800 it will stay there and then when i back out the widget will say 600 max still. Is this a widget error or am I doing something wrong in trying to set my processing speeds?

Check if you have profiles enabled and if one of these profiles is messing with your settings. Make sure your Device Selection is set to Autodetect, not Droid. If that doesn't work, try setting it to 800 and then hitting refresh maybe? That does it sometimes.

i am staying at 800mhz or whatever i set it at... Thanks guys, seems like a dumb question now lol...
