How to remove a pic from a gallery album?

I am using the stock gallery app, I created some albums which worked out good enough, but I added a couple pics to the wrong album. The only way I have found to remove the pics is to delete the album and recreate it again.

Is there a better way do remove / move a wrongly placed pic?

Thanks for the response, I have setup several "albums" to divide my pics (family, friends, work, etc) but I do not find them in the file manager on Win7 or by using the file manager on the droid. All pics are stored in the DCIM/camera folder and the folder I used to transfer from my old phone.

The folder I made on the SD card for import does not show as a separate "album" in gallery, like some of the information on this forum suggests (it is in the root of the SD card), maybe I need to move it ti the DCIM folder?

I have searched the internal and SD card for the "albums" that I made ...I am thinking they may be only "virtual albums" ...thoughts?

The functionality of the stock gallery is fine, just the quirk of not being to remove/move a misplaced pic from an album is bugging me.
Code:
Folders on my SD card
Albums - 0
dcim - 1
download - 10
LOST.DIR - 0
Playlists - 0
mine - 3
I notice Albums and Playlists have the first letter as caps, I dont remember making these folders ...maybe they should be renamed with all small letters?

all photos are store in the DCIM folder.. but you can create a new one "Friends", "Family" and etc.. it will eventually show up in your gallery under the folder youve just created :)
