How soon will accessories likely be available?

I am going to wait now that Steinheil said they are going to be releasing them soon! But I have never bought from them I have done Clarivue. What is this Ultra Fine one that is 2 bucks more? Which do you usually get the 13.99 regular or 15.99 ultra fine?

I agree with NeoteriX, the glass definitely looks like the dimensions are different. That said, it's possible that it could work as a "temporary" solution until the official one comes out. For me, I'd just rather hold off until they released the official one. The SGP screenprotectors, while not "expensive," are still more than the ebay ones...So, if I were going to try a temporary screen protector, I'd go with the cheap ebay ones first.

My friend ordered me a purple rubber case which I'll use just to hold me till Seidio comes out with the one I want. I need a screen protector still though.

:thumbup: I received my red rubber case last night (ordered from flea bay) ! I lOVE the red and I'm excited that it fits nicely over my Samsung GII from Sprint! That means the holster I carry it in should fit nicely as well. Waiting on the screen protector, alreayd have a SD card. then I'm good to go. . . once I get the EVO 4g LTE! Woo Hoo!

That could be the best review that I have ever read about any device, ever.

There is a bunch on ebay for like 5 or 6 bucks. My friend is getting purple for me and black for him. I saw a pink one I liked too but Seidio is my favorite and I get there purple Surface or Active case and will use it all the time once there available. This is just something to hold me over cause she said she is getting them on Thursday from ebay.

They now have a landing page up. They will be making something for the Evo 4G LTE, who knows which version(s) though.

These screen guards have a treated layer that make it easy to wipe off fingerprints, thus reducing prints. They do not have a matte finish, which ensures that the optical clarity is maintained.

How can fingerprints just fade? Sounds too good to be true almost. And with nothing to back up their claim I am very wary. Although it is 3M. They have a name associated with innovation and quality. Either way my curiosity is piqued.

(This likely won't be made for our devices so it is probably a moot point to most of you. I'm just interested in the newest/different choices available to the market)

I used to like Boxwave screen protectors but I haven't bought any since my Treo (about 5 yrs ago?), for this new phone I'm not buying any accessories until I actually have the phone in my hot little hands. Oleophobic means Oil-Resistant.

The origin is from the greek word oleo meaning oil and from the greek word phobos meaning persistent fear or morbid fear - or, roughly, to have a strong aversion to something. So the protector has a strong aversion to oils.

The Seidio screen protector mentioned above is Oleophobic.
The benefit is that the protector can remain optically clear(not matte) but still resist fingerprints to a degree based on the special coating they put on it. It doesn't really prevent fingerprints, or completely stop them from accumulating, or reduce them. Oleophobic protectors are not fingerprint proof. It more or less makes fingerprints easier to wipe off after they inevitably build up. I've heard mixed results about how well they 'work', so don't fall too hard for marketing words.

The 3M fingerprint fading protectors I mentioned above are probably Oleophobic, but they have got to have something else going on in order to make fingerprints magically disappear...

And there is the DG H200 model and its specs run up to 1080p.
