Okay Guys :)
First off I want to thank these Dev. for there hard work..
Kam187, Mastermind278, droiddev, mobileband, My420Time, rkhalil2009,
Nu11u5

DON'T extract the file(s) from the tar that you download, the file that you download IS what you need. Load Into the PDA setting in ODIN Flasher!

Based On New & Old Kernel.

- 1 Step Root!
- Full Access To the System by Typing ADB Shell
No more tr3 root hack!

-Default.prop Edit's
ro.secure=0
ro.allow.mock.location=0
ro.debuggable=1
persist.service.adb.enable=1

-Init.rc Edit's
I changed the System Re-mount to rw
You can now adb push Anything to /system or /data

This mean's YOU have Root via SH After Flashing, no more using Cat to Push something & No more running the Re-mount Command! Best Of all, we now Have Root without messing with try3 ( asroot ).. :)

New Revision 3 ( New Kernel )
Based on New Kernel thanks to > Nu11u5
Shell Enabled Root-Full ADB Access-Root Permission's for App's Set By User
SU Permission Fix per Reboot for Persistent Root for App's (Must Push SU to Bin on Factory Rom)
Kernel is Backwards Compatible with Old WiFi Driver's

Here's the Odin Ready Kernel Download. This is the Kernel Only. Works with all Known Ports & Factory Rom!
Download > Update-T939UVJA3_Rooted_Kernel.tar

OLD Revision 2 ( Old Kernel )
Shell Enabled Root-Full ADB Access-Root Permission's for App's Set By User
Root For App's On stock Rom needs SU in /system/bin & chmod 04755

Here's the Odin Ready Kernel Download. This is the Kernel Only. Works with all Known Ports & Factory Rom!
Root_boot.tar

Old Revision 1 (Old Kernel )
Here's the Odin Ready Kernel Download. This is the Kernel Only. Works with all Known Ports & Factory Rom!
T939UVIJ6-PDA-CL81521-REV1.tar

Is this a proof in concept or does this bring us something feature/performance wise that we didn't get with your stock ROM?

Thanks again for all your work on the Behold II.

Not to be a Jerk, but did you Read the First Post?

- Full Root Access ( Even with a Stock Rom )
- Adb Push now Working ( No More Cat )
- Secure is now Off
- Try3 is no longer Needed.

P.s.
Working on the Updated Kernel Right now.. So everyone can Use it as well :)

Is this a good idea? I don't know a whole lot about android security, but having this done by default seems like it would be a security risk.

It's been Like this forever now On the G1 / MyTouch 3G / Droid / Cliq / Samsung Moment...

Anyone that has been around and using Cyanogen Mod's are used to this ( Like Myself ).

Trust me, you want this stuff enabled.
When Disabled, it's designed to keep you out of the System / Phone Period!

*edit*
To clear this up a bit.... Only thing that has Full Read - Write Access is you when using adb shell.... Everything is un-changed :)

so does this help us advance any further in relation to an upgraded OS?
So the tar file above is now the one to use? And it has full root already in it, all you have to do is flash it from odin? If so then wow BH_MAN I'm impressed!

I might pee my pants if this kernel edit is what we need to run galaxy 2.1 from GAOSP!

I was thinking when I get time to pull the Galaxy Kernel & placing into the Ramdisk & re-package it. Since the Hardware is almost the same, it might work, but not likely...

Well, looks like I need the Odin from the New Update.. Changing out Kernel's Breaks the Hack :(

It boot Loops, at first I thought I did something wrong. But, I've been able to produce the Old Kernel Mod several Times using the same Method. It looks like it's Checking the Header of the Boot.img against the Kernel version, which is Really weird!

My Hats off to Samsung on locking this down as Tight as they did.

Still Trying to work around it though :)
