Froyo Camera on Gingerbread?

Wife's DX is on GB and is rooted (running Liberty) and HATES HATES HATES the Gingerbread camera. It doesn't have Macro-zoom whereas the Froyo one did.

Is there a Froyo stock camera available for the DX that can be flashed via CWM (or some other method) to the phone?

Well, since you are on Liberty, are you using the AOSP camera or the Blur camera?

Good question. I'll have to check. It is whatever is selected by default when flashing Liberty.

I think the default is AOSP, but either way, you might just try switching to see if she likes the other one better. Otherwise, you are probably better off just finding an aftermarket camera app that she likes.

This was the answer. She was using the Blur camera and switched over to AOSP. Now she has macro and other settings she missed. She's a happy girl now.
