LG Connect extended battery

Has anyone had any luck in finding an extended battery that doesn't bulk up the phone? I hear about the 1900s but not sure how well they work?

I began using the this battery Gold 2430 mah. Since this battery was made for a different model (the LG connect twin) the battery has to be adapt. Do not just install this battery and charge it, otherwise it will not last as it should.
To adapt this battery it is required to download an app from the Android playstore called Battery Calibrator. Once installed, just follow the instructions and that's it.
It gave me 40% more battery time. It is great.

That is untrue Highlander. The phone does not care what battery is in the phone (ALL cell phone batteries are the same voltage, so only the capacity differs), all you need to do is fully charge (FULLY, keep it charging at 100 for at least 6-12 hours to make sure), then unplug, boot recovery, wipe battery stats, then use until it shuts off. The phone will calibrate itself. And really you dont even need to do this, as the phone will do it on its own just slower since it doesnt have a base line to compare it to. Its like when you install an aftermarket performance part in a car with an ECU. The new part changes parameters of how the engine runs, and until it fully adapts, you wont get optimal performance out of it. And you can speed this process up a little bit by disconnecting the battery and letting the ECUs memory wipe so it has a fresh start. Its not averaging out the new parameters from the new parts with the old parameters from the old parts, it just starts to figure out the new ones.

As for the batteries, unfortunately I already ordered the 1900mah (off Ebay) before I saw the 2450mah (oh well it was only $6 for one). So depending on the performance I get from this one, I may or may not order the larger one. And I will perform full reviews on whichever ones I get. Until then though, why NOT order one of them, their only 6-12$??

Sorry man, I did that (charge and discharge 2 times) and It was lasting me 10% less battery time than the original. Keep in mind that the battery has it's own chip inside to prevent overcharging and it is made "Optimus Black" phones.
The phone has it's own calibrator and it will work a battery made for it.

I tested my Gold battery on a Cadex tester independent of the phone and it tested at about 50% capacity or ~1200 mah. Maybe I got a dud, but my battery is horrible, independent of the phone and it's calibration systems.

Dont get that POS 2400MAH gold battery I was the one who started the tread and damn that was a waste of 30 dollar like the other person said its twice worst then the stock battery and its fake.

Someone on this subforum used a battery tester, found that the 1900mah where anything but... the best one, the Feipusi one was 1200mah. We concluded that you where better off with stock...

Now, LG does make a 1700mah battery that is unofficaly compatible with the LG Connect, which can get you two more hours over stock... That is the LG OEM BL-44JS battery... There is also an extended battery for the Lucid that will work as well, you just will have to make your self a extended back for it... lol
