Any information on the Qualcomm Snapdragon MDM9615/APZ8064 Quad-core?

I stumbled across an LG leak:

LG LS970 ‘Eclipse’ Coming with 1.5 GHz Quad-core Krait CPU - BriefMobile

I haven't been about to find much on this processor. I found this press release from Qualcomm. What is most strange to me is in the press release the only name given to the quad core processor is APQ8064. This LG leak also designates the processor with MDM9615.

The press release states that there should be samples of this processor in early 2012. Have there been any performance test on it? Is there any information out there on this processor?

Well the snapdragon wiki has it... there isn't much to say about it on the wiki though other than it lacking a modem which would explain the need for the MDM9615. Also says that it is clocked at 1.5- 1.7 ghz quad-core and has a adreno 320 gpu. Here's the link to the wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snapdragon_(system_on_chip) it's the very last chip on the chart. I don't know if there is anymore info on the chip, but whats there, but I can take a look and see if I can find more.

I also found a couple official qualcomm articles that talk about it in general.

That's the main reason I was so confused, because nothing official designates the MDM for this quad core that I have seen.

Qualcomm showed this processor in a tablet,

AnandTech - Qualcomm Shows Off Quad Core Krait APQ8064 at 1.5 GHz

I'm really surprised they don't have one of these with a modem. Most American carriers are switching out the quad cores of the HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy SIII with Qualcomm's duel core snapdragon because it contains LTE on the SoC.

They are switching the quad-cores to dual-cores because of LTE modem compatibility issues with the quad-core exynos processor. With this design OEMs can put in a separate modem and have it work on LTE with no problems. So it makes sense to me. I'm not sure why they didn't make the SoC with a built in modem, but I think needing a separate one will give OEMs more choices to use.
