Root Need a little help....

I bought an Optimus Elite and activated it.
So I wanted to revert my little V back to unrooted - stock so that I could sell it.

I installed the NAND backup I had of the stock ROM right after I rooted the phone. I used Gingerbreak to unroot it. It appeared to do that as SU was gone. I then factory reset the phone. When it booted up it went into the CWM recovery v4.0.1.5. Selected reboot from there and it came right back to the recovery.
So I tried to do the factory reset from CWM. No go.
I've tried placing my NAND backup, VM update as I read that can set the phone back to stock. All that happens is it goes back into CWM recovery.

Looking around the forums trying to find out what I need to do, if you can post the link of what I need to do, or walk me through it, it is much appreciated.

When you try to factory reset with a custom recovery it usually results in a boot or recovery loop. Try googling the flashable xionia recovery. It is a flashable zip recovery you install through your current recovery. Xionia has an option to fix a boot loop. Just for future reference, when trying to factory reset, make sure you are pure stock, including the recovery, and unrooted.

The easiest way, apply VMs update in any recovery and its fully stock. :D?
Tried that. Just booted up into CWM recovery.

Maybe I'll try that again....

Maybe on the sticky should read; "Do not Factory Reset your Rooted Phone or with Custom Recovery"

In my haste, once I unrooted (because seeing the sticky) that's when I hit the factory reset. Once I ran into my problem and investigated, I see that you need to get rid of any custom recoveries also.....
Just was hurrying to get it posted for sale....

Still not having any luck.

Have noticed this if it helps figure out whats going on; No app2sd partition found

- VM update - Boots into CWM Recovery
- Trying to install xioia recovery - Installation aborted. - Boots into CWM
- Trying to restore backup - No app2sd partition found. Skipping format of /sd-ext can't mount /sd-ext-sd - boots into CWM

Any ideas what to do?

Is there a downgrade thread?
Is there a unbrick thread that doesnt use Optimus S firmware?

Try downgrade thread first, if it doesn't exist then do unbrick.

Downloaded a fresh copy in case the other was corrupt, still does not install with CWM.
Even toggled signature verification option.

Does the phone need to be rooted for this to work, since I had unrooted it?
In case this matters, I had flashed the radio update some time ago.

Does that help for coming up with any other ideas?

Now I need to find out what draining the battery so fast on the Elite before I sell the V / might have to switch back....
Did you check your TWS? I was fine all day long at home with it on Wi-Fi but when I left the house to get the kids, my Elite started getting really hot and was discharging pretty fast. I popped it into airplane mode and back out and it seemed to be okay. When I got home tonight TWS had dropped from 30% to 18%.

Ugh....don't tell me another phone has a stupid tws bug....
I was looking at this phone as well as the evo whenever it comes out. Like my op v but was curious about google wallet, faster processor, etc.
When can Lg/virgin mobile get there act together and fix this? Heck, we have it already fixed in practically all roms, if we the community can do it why can't they? I guess they just don't have awesome people like jerry or curios noob or all those other guys/girls that make fabulous roms. Nope, I believe they just have monkeys.

/rant.

PS: XDA has an app that automatically toggles airplane mode when you boot the phone, fixing this bug. So if any other phones do have it, there is an easy fix. Just annoying you have to do this in the first place. It says only android 2.1 but it works on 2.2 and 2.3. I have tested it ;)

Thanks for the info as I never heard about the tws bug.
Toggled the airplane mode to see if this helps.
Going to do a search on it, but does the tws bug keep the phone awake when the screens off? I have huge amounts of time like this.....

Installed and trying these to increase my battery life:
Periodic Auto Sync
Y5 - Battery Saver

Still see huge amounts of time wake with the screen off.

And now from you guys mentioning mentioning about toggling the airplane mode:
Toggle AirplaneMode On Boot

Here's a thread I made with some numbers on the terrible battery life I'm getting:
