Turned in an evo brand phone, take 50 off
Gift card for activating, take 50 off

Thanks for clarifiying that marc, I was thinking that they were still giving 100 dollars for the OG and for 100 bucks I'd think of trading it in. For 50, I think I will keep it as a wifi and mp3 playing device.

despite that fact, Emilio at my local BB hooked me up with the full $100 discount (no trade in).

I did buy the Buyback Protection + the extra warranty (which I can cancel in 2 weeks)

Buyback protection is one time $29.99 (if you buy the warranty also - otherwise $60) and it seams like a very good deal. I can walk back into the store tomorrow and BB would buy it back from me for $400 (store credit ofcourse, not cash - but you can use the money towards another phone obv and still have some left)

unless I'm missing something I think it's a great deal for a one time fee of $30

I got mine a couple of hours ago!!! I had to go into the sprint store to activate it though. The online activation was saying I needed to change my plan and I couldn't do it over the phone because I had no outside line to call them from.

The woman at Sprint said they had not received their phones yet, but they had some cool cases that she showed me.

Awesome phone!

Exactly the problem I had - I wonder how widespread this is...

I also had that problem. Had to activate it using chat. It *might* have been because I didn't turn off my OLD phone when I was trying to activate it originally. I seem to recall that was a problem last time I switched phones.

Might be a good little reminder to everyone to turn OFF their old phones BEFORE they turn on the new one and try to activate it on their old number. :)

I'd be curious if that was the problem ...

That's exactly what the problem was! When you log in your Sprint acct and your switching phones, it tells you turn off your phone so you don't incur problematic situation...Turn them off!;)

I love my new evo 4g LTE and I kid you not my good deed is done I just went into the local sprint store in my area and I kid you not when I went to sell my evo 3d through the buyback program the guy was processing my sale of my evo 3d and when he saw my new phone he looked at me with HUGE EYES and every sprint employee came over and was like wait is that the the evo 4g LTE ???? Well why yes it is and they asked me how I got it lmao... And I told them I pre ordered it on May 7th the moment it became available and a guy was there who also wanted the phone but decided to go for an iPhone 4s instead but his sale wasn't official and when he saw I had the evo 4g LTE and the sprint reps couldn't believe I had it already and asked how I got it lol..and they mentioned the whole apple/customs issue and they can't believe I have it already cause they haven't even got their distribution of them yet and they aren't sure when they will...well the customer that was buying the iPhone said screw that I want that phone and the sprint rep was showing my phone off to everyone haha I felt very proud and I LOVE THIS PHONE!!!!! has anyone figured out how to turn on 4g LTE? Or is it on all the time? I'm confused and trying to figure it out ? :( :( :(
