What's the chance of us leaked 2.1 users not getting an update?

Has anyone who installed 2.1 NOT had an app update since the 2.1 install? On 1.5 I would get at least one update a week for an app I had. I have all of those apps on my 2.1 Eris now and have not had on update yet??

no, we will get the OTA (im almost positive). this article is about the moto droid, so the build on the moto droid OTA and leak are the same.

has nothing at all to do with the Eris.

Why? And if the leaked version is the same as the OTA why reflash?

if they are in fact the same, then leakers will not get the OTA and we will not need to reflash...so it's a moot point.

If you backed up all your apps and then restored them from that backup, you will not get updates for those apps. Only apps installed directly from the market will get updates.

I know, it was more a rhetorical question. I would be really curious to know but I just don't have time today to root around. (no pun intended) Stupid cpu fan on a server crapped out, scrambling to find a replacement.

I did a complete wipe when I intstalled the 2.1. All the apps were re-installed from the market. Maybe it's just a coincidence that I have not had an app update since the 2.1 install.

It may be. I have had 5 or 6 updates at least since installing the leak.

I've found that adopting that attitude about most things in life has caused my blood pressure to drop to normal levels and my rear-view mirror to be used only for backing up.
