and remember, the jump from 1.5 to 2.1 is a LOT bigger than from 2.0.1 to 2.1.

2.1 for the Hero will be out soon enough (most likely within a month or two), just be patient.

more than likely. However, there are apps that will back your data up to your SD card, and your contacts are backed up to google if they're "google" contacts.

Anything on your SD card (like your photos) will not be touched.

Your cellphone provider is called ACS? Lol.

more than likely. However, there are apps that will back your data up to your SD card, and your contacts are backed up to google if they're "google" contacts.

Anything on your SD card (like your photos) will not be touched.

Looks like I'll need to do that. Have any tips on which are good apps to have my stuff backed up to my SD?

I am currently on Fresh2.1, when going to your link for damagless what is the difference between expresso and the "normal" version, pretty new to this so just curious. Thanks!

In Expresso, the bottom bar looks different from the default Sense bar. You can see it in the screen shots. It's just transparent and flat.
