What's the latest firmware version for Model SCH-1800?

I bought my GTS shortly after they came out. I don't use it as a phone; I just use my wi-fi connection at home. Lately, I've had some problems with it:

It hangs in different apps, e.g., Dolphin and Kindle.
I've also had it crash out of the blue in no particular app.
I keep getting that error message about google services framework crashing.

I thought maybe my firmware needed to be updated, but my GTS says everything is up to date. I've been reading through the forums all evening, and one of the things suggested was to connect to Kies. Nope, it won't do that, either. I saw an applet to help find the files that prevent my connection, but it's for a PC, and I'm on a MacBook Pro.

Can anyone suggest a way to make my tab run like it should? Here's my device info:

PRL version 52138
ERI version 00005
Hardware version 1800.0.3
Model SCH-1800
Firmware version 2.3.5
Kernel version 2.6.35.7

I appreciate any help I can get. :)

A word of advice, DO NOT go anywhere near that samfirmware POS.

It's just a shot in the dark but you might try looking at, oh... I don't know... the manufacturers freaking support site for the device...

What's so bad about SamMobile.com? I've been using that web site for ages without a problem.

Wow. What a jerk wad. I did go to the support site first. As a new member, looks like you'll be making lots of friends with that attitude.
