Congrats on the new apartment Stigy! We've been strongly considering moving. Problem is, since we first started renting this apartment, almost 4 years now, DC rents have gone up so much more. Also, we love our neighborhood and there isn't a ton for rent around here that is in our price range. Plus our place is SO tiny, but since we're not here much, it isn't a big deal.

It's just very frustrating living around my area besides taking public transportation and we both drive due to the traffic of the Lincoln Tunnel and just the amount of people in the area.
It takes my girlfriend 45 minutes to get to work where it should only take 15-20 minutes at the most. I have to add 30 minutes onto a commute anywhere I go that involves going near the tunnel and the roads are horrible and congestion is just getting worse. Plus all of our friends live near where we are moving now and we barely see them as it is so it'd be real awesome to start hanging out with them again and not having to worry about the 30 minute drive home after.

Yikes. Yeah, DC traffic isn't as bad as NYC, but it's still pretty bad. Especially if you're coming from the suburbs. I've seen the rush hour traffic coming from VA and I just shake my head at those people. What a way to waste your life.
I take the bus to work, and while some nights I have to wait a bit, it's still pretty good.
I would always recommend a Nandroid backup! Every time you change ROMs (and if you don't frequently, I'd do it once a week) it's important. If you don't like the new ROM, or something is broken, it's a cinch to go back to where you started. Perhaps the best part about rooting.
Out of range Bluetooth devices won't show up anymore in Settings
Browser: added option to close all other tabs (besides current)
Fixed data toggle
Removed requirement to reboot when toggling keyboard switcher (IME switcher) in statusbar
added nav bar widgets (to enable, go to nav bar settings > add toggle widgets as one of your nav bar actions/ long press actions, then add widgets -- be sure to add at least 2 for best experience)
as always, tons of fixes for devices and other backend fixes!
Ugh, alright adjuster, you got me switching back to AOKP. Downloading now.
Oh, and looks like they have an official release for my Prime. Perhaps I'll finally root it this weekend!
Missed my chance to get it downloaded before work. I often have problems downloading large files through Chrome and have to switch to Firefox. Anyone know why that is?
Haha, yes it is. I will be honest, I use it even more now that I am a guide. Being able to see the first part of a post without having to click through is a very valuable tool.
I remember when Nandroid backups first came to Android - what a great time that was. I had already rooted my G1 and a month later I would be running CM V3.0 (or whatever he started at).
