Root Panic!!! My phone does not read sd anymore

ok this is what you will need to do:
[ How-To ] Fix SD card not being detected & USB port not working - xda-developers

use the usb fix first then do the sd card fix next.

Hello.
I follow the instructions on the link you gave, and the phone read my sd card again, but whe I try to do this:

Run from a terminal emulator in Android since ADB won't work if the USB port is not working

Terminal emulator & ADB commands

su
cat /sdcard/flash_image > /data/flash_image
cat /sdcard/mtd-eng.img > /data/mtd-eng.img
chmod 755 /data/flash_image
/data/flash_image misc /data/mtd-eng.img
reboot

The image will show you.
This is exactly what I got stuck on, the last thing I did before everything got messed up.

on the terminal emulator says:
mtd MEMGETBADBLOCK returned al 1 at 0x00000000...
mtd: read all-zero block at .... skipping
mtd: not writing bad block at 0x00000
error writing misc: No space left on device.

I tried to uninstall every app I had install from playstore, and apparently the apps I left were the ones from factory.

So... What do I do?
Please help me out here.
I appettiate all your help.
thank you

ok so i have seen this happen on a few evos from time to time. it looks like you have some bad blocks on your internal partition that is preventing you to do anything to the phone. basically this is a hardware issue. i have not seen much info on this but here are a few threads that might shed some light on it:
[Q] Root Trouble Caroline Failed - xda-developers. now i know this is for revolutionary, but it explains about what bad blocks are.

Anthrax Kernel for Evo 4G - Page 9. this is the post that one of the guys who posted in the first link was referring to.

unfortunately it has nothing to do with apps and memory. it has everything to do with your system partition on your phone. if you have bad blocks then there is not much you can do from what i have read.

sorry to be the bearer of bad news:( however, if you do come across something that fixes bad blocks then please post it here.

Well, I really dont know about the bad block issue at all.:(
Something simple to try is a new usb cord?
If I read correctly, your phone CAN see your sd card, but when you plug in to your computer, you cannot see your sd card right?
I'm just thinking of some simple things to try.:p

Thank very much ocnbrze; I appetiate all the help you give to the users, and I will read the information you gave me. I hope that at least I might leave the phone like it was before.
You know? I bought my evo over the internet and it was sprint. But I am using it in mexico. A friend flashed it for me. So, maybe, do you think that something he did, in fact did this bad block to the phone? Maybe If I can figure thwis out, maybe I could undo it...
Greetings to LA. :)

this will not however fix the bad block error he is getting. bad blocks are on the internal memory of the phone.

ok then it might be possible that something happened during the flash to another network. i can't say for sure though as i do not know too much about bad blocks. however, from what i read bad blocks are hardware failure so not sure if going to another network would cause that or not. all i know is that there is no fix for bad blocks (at least from what i have found).

Correct. With these large files being downloaded over the internet there is the possibility that you will have a bad download. Checking the MD5 just verifies that something didn't get messed up going from point A to point B. I prefer to check it once it is on the SD card to ensure nothing got messed up in the USB transfer.

You can do this with ES file explorer and probably a few others.
