Anyone upgradeed Sony Live With Walkman to ICS 4.0.4 ?

Couldn't wait and upgraded to ICS. Update was fast, took about 15minutes. Looks pretty nice at first glance, but actually I can't see any REAL features. For now I see only visual changes, still can't create folders in applications view (I was hoping that this would be in A4, but there isn't, so iPhone is still much better to me). I will update post when I will have more information about calls, messaging, battery and other stuff

P. S. No bugs can't see for now

I've updated my phone to ICS. Update hasn't affected performance of phone much, it can be neglected. User experience is same as it was in Gingerbread. Many new features have been give via this update. Lock-screen is customizable to some extent and yeah face unlock does work efficiently!

OVERALL... : ICS ROCKS!!!

All user data and applications were intact after update, nothing was deleted.

Update your device to discover loads of amazing features!

is it only for me, but did you notice that new message and missed calls notification only appears at status bar and on messages app, but don't in home screen when screen is locked. It was in 2.3, but it isn't in 4. I really miss it

--- Update ----
Also, I read in Android website, that in ICS there has to be "Quick responses for incoming calls" feature, but I can't find it there. Can I enable it somewhere?
----------
<<<< This feature exist, it is so small that I missed it. You can edit messages, but can't find where add new ones and/or delete existing

On other hand, I really like multitasking overview feature, which is enabled by long tap home button. Now I can remove from list just by drag to side, without going to application manager and stopping process.
Also there are more widgets installed by default, but hate widget pick screen, which is huge and uncomfortable. It your list is big, then it is real pain to find widget you want

More updates later

If you see the threads in Sony mobile forums you will realize that every thread and every post starts or consists words like "please help" "problem" "cannot do this or that" "bugs" and so on. So it's definitely not a stable version of ICS. Too many bugs, major bugs! It's not worth it to have so many bugs just for bit nicer UI and new task manager!!!

Actually I use it for 3 days now and I haven't seen any bugs or lags so far. It is working really fast, at least as fast as ginger. Also, today I noticed that walkman media buttons are additionally on lock screen while music is on. Buttons are small so it is hard to touch them accidentaly, but if you need you can. It is really nice feature.

Overall: Everyday I find something new and nice in ICS and don't regret about upgrading. Some options from ginger can't find, but maybe they are just hidden somewhere. I recommend everyone to upgrade now

Yes I agree with you friend. But there's a small lag on web browser. Still there's no bug for me. I think you can check all the new features on xperia blog. They describe it details, with video tutorial.

What would you say about taking a screenshot, is it working? Video recording (skipping frames)? Dial pad is loading slowly (most of the time). And I was wondering why the interface is absolutely the same as Gingerbread? Almost no changes except the style of the buttons. I was hoping that the main menu will be divided on two sections Apps/Widgets as it is in all other ICS phones!

You can take screenshots easily by press and hold power and volume down buttons at same time.

>>>Video recording (skipping frames)?

Not clear what you say?

Yes, first time there is a delay, after it cache work fine!

I also surprise looking same interface after upgrade. I think, they use it for improve performances. Because of this is a 1GHz processor.

One thing, keyboard also not changed! :D

A lot of people are facing a lot of bugs with the new camera. It's laggy and image quality is poorer. When recording a video it is skipping frames. Do you have any of these problems in ICS?

In addition to bugs mentioned above, the are many a bugs. Notification led problem, bad battery life and bad performance. For an instance when ever I start playing Riptide GP, phone freezes and reboots! The I just downgraded to Gingerbread.
