Help Using HTC Sync. Can't connect to windows media player

Rooted?

What carrier are you on?

What version of Windows?

What are you trying to accomplish? Are you trying to just move audio files back and forth? I if so, you can just mount the evo as a disk drive and copy and paste...

Sprint, Windows 7, Yes, just trying to load music on the phone. I did it a year ago but I can't get the WMP to recognize the devise. I haven't tried copy and paste.

i would send an email to HTC. some who have the LTE are having issues connecting to htc sync as well.

i would seriously go wireless and use wifi explorer. its an app in the market. i use it to move videos and other files across my tablet and phone from my laptop or any other computer.

you are not rooted correct? send an e-mail to htc and let 'em know. they respond quickly.

To second what marctronixx suggested, a copy paste should work find. To be honest, I've not used HTC Sync in ages now - to copy music, I used to just plug in my phone to the computer (USB) and select disk drive as the option. Then, just copy the files using windows explorer, and then safely eject.

Now, I use google music or amazon cloud - if I need offline storage, I use box or dropbox apps to transfer the music files.
Truly wireless :) (well, except for the charger of course)
