4496109[/URL]]I don't know where the link for the "Official" file is but you can use #ELIOT# at the dial screen to do a manual check in to the Moto Servers and then try the software update in the settings again.

Thanks, I tried it with no success but it was worth the try :)

I wasn't able to download it but I signed up for Dropbox (loaded the Dropbox app) and that worked (downloaded)..

How do I load the update now?

1 Download the update onto your external sd-card.
2 Power down your phone.
3 Hold down both volume buttons, then press power button.
4 Select recovery by pressing volume down then volume up.
5 At the Android logo press both volume buttons.
6 Select "apply update from sdcard" and then select the file downloaded in step 1 (Use vol up/down to navigate and power to select).
7 Reboot.

When downloaded from the Dropbox, is the file the first on the list" "update.zip" ?

Just an observation since the MANUAL update...my phone is running EXTRA HOT and my EXTENDED BATTERY was not charging at all. I just switched batteries.

Not liking this at all.

At this point I would revert if I could.

Could the manual update I downloaded be bad?

HELP!

I performed the update manually also. The phone seems fine....not hot and I do have the extended battery.

Maybe your install got corrupted somehow?? Are you rooted??

Did you download it to your sdcard or sdcard-ext? It needs to be on the sdcard-ext, even though in recovery it only says sdcard. Stupid file naming system.
Mine says: Blur_Version.5.9.902.XT875.Verizon.en.US.zip
This is what mine says as well.
