Can someone tell me all the changes the moment will get once the 2.1 update is released?
most importantly native CDMA support on 2.1?
What about:
-improvements to battery life?
-flash content when online and in picture messaging?
-access to facebook without getting an app?
(I don't have this phone yet. I'm waiting on the update to purchase which is why I'm so curious about the changes).
-
Flash is a pipe dream and unneeded in the mobile world. Especially in picture messaging.
www.facebook.com - no app needed

I read up on this and found that Hulu has most (if not all) of their videos backed up in H.264. So hopefully they will make use of that soon!Once big sites like Yahoo, CNN, etc. start using HTML5 video combined with H.264 video codec (what YouTube uses) then there will be zero need for Flash.

It surely is. However, it's a very informed opinion.
Flash offers the following benefits:
- allows you to watch Flash video clips
- allows you to navigate static webpages completely laid out in flash (have fun doing that, see you in an hour if your phone doesn't die)
Flash offers the following cons:
- biggest security hole on the internet
- uses lots of CPU power for anything more than a small ad, thus draining the battery quicker if you're watching videos or even just browsing most sites
- full of memory leaks
- 99% of ads on the internet are flash-based
- website tracking is mostly flash-based
- buggy as hell
I don't know man, the good parts here do not outweigh the bad parts. I'm pretty happy with the Youtube app. Once big sites like Yahoo, CNN, etc. start using HTML5 video combined with H.264 video codec (what YouTube uses) then there will be zero need for Flash.
Would anyone mind neatly listing what we will get with this upgrade? You can also list what we might get as well (the things which haven't been confirmed yet.).
Thanks to the kind person who does ^_^
