Home Video Streaming possible?

I have used Handbrake to convert almost all our DVD's to MP4 (web enabled) on a 2 Terabyte network drive.

I'm looking for some "streaming application" that will allow me to watch any of these movies on my phone over the internet.

Is there such a thing? I know I have to have a dedicated computer (gateway) to access the movies, but after searching Google for the past hour, I've given up.

The only thing I can find is Orb, but the reviews aren't the greatest.

Has anyone done this sucessfully, and willing to share how they did it?

I appreciate any help!! :)

This requires Flash and is something that allows you to watch premium TV programs etc.

What I'm talking about is I want to setup a HOME streaming media server that will allow me to play all the videos I have stored on my computer. Streaming them to my Droid so I can watch them from wherever I have internet access.

Thanks though

Have you looked into MythTV? Or maybe simply VLC?
I might try some stuff at home, but that would require on the fly transcoding (VLC does that).
