I am getting this error when I attempt to load the file:
The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, an d then contact the software publisher.

Is there a way to get a version that works with 64 bit operating systems? Thanks!

I made it on a 64 bit PC so I'm not sure what's going on

But, you can always use the old-fashioned zipfile method haha

Just unzip it to a folder: Goo.im Downloads - Downloading ThunderboltTool.zip

You can, but I don't see what the point is. The ota has caused people more harm than good.
But you could also just install the rooted ota rom

Thanks, I just dislike the popups that come up every 1-2 days asking for update then failing. Is the rooted ota rom you speak of just an update file to apply? Or a fresh blank rom?

I am currently on: 2.11.605.5 and I have been having some issues with random lose of 4g and restarts and had hoped the ota updates I have been missing for a while may have fixed some things. I will try out your tool later to see if it helps after unrooting and applying then rerooting.

Also with the official ICS rom coming in 1-2 months from verizon I hoped to be able to stay on official and then reroot as I do like the stock roms but like root as well.

The rooted ota is a full rom but you shouldn't need to wipe data.

There is an ota stopper in extras to stop the pop ups also, but my rooter blocks otas in the process

Thanks for the info, and thanks for making this handy tool.

With Verizon ending unlimited data with upgrades I plan on being on the thunderbolt for as long as possible to maintain my Unlimited 4G and with work continuing to be done to improve the thunderbolt it makes me happy.
