how to boost up the volume on the warp (video)

@kam are you hitting home or back after using the app? If you hit back instead of home it will not apply the settings

Yes, I did it like that but the difference in sound levels was not that big. I'm just gonna stick to my old method of editing my music through my Audacity app in my laptop.

BTW Knox, you're doing a great job on vids about the Warp over on YouTube. I'm always checking to see when your next one drops.

okay so if you have the zte warp and are surpised at how low the volume seems, try this first

play any song !

then while song is paying remove the back plate cover!

if you notice that the volume gets louder when you remove the back cover,

then its most likely a defective cover ,

if you noitce on the cover there are two slits are that is supposed to allow the music to flow thru has some type of seal over it ,
find something to poke out and remove the layer off till you can see thru the slits

this should greatly increase the sound output than before ! for me it was like night and day hope this solves your sound issue !

I noticed a difference after removing it :D

I don't think it makes a difference but tried it anyway. Thankfully my roomate has the same phone and wants to get a new one. So i'll just switch out my back plate cover with his and get my speaker dust cover back on the back plate as it was origional. Those sound booster apps DO work and I've tried them but the sound comes in totaly distorted and terrible quality. I want my phone to last and I bleieve those sound boosters will blow the speaker eventualy plus the sound is terrible quality. The speaker wasn't designed for that high of amperage of noise imo. I have average to bad hearing but if you lay your phone with the glass face down I find that the phone is easy to hear at max volume with the stock volume level. Good luck, just my opinion.

Hi all!

You are at liberty to disagree (politely) with another member's suggestion but making assumptions about how others who follow the advice will react just starts arguments, as seen here.

Please remember the two important mantras here at AF; "attack issues, not people", and "post constructively or not at all".

Thanks!
