What should I show to iPhone users?

I am getting an HTC Desire next month and I told my friends at my office who use iPhone 3G (not sure if one of them has 3GS).

I have never owned an Android nor an iPhone, except Android 1.6 running on my HTC Kaiser via Haret (Yes, I switched from WM6).

And I don't think my friends have ever seen/touch an Android device as well.
Btw, they are not just regular users, and they know IT very good and one of them also switched from WM6 to iPhone. One of them jailbroken their iPhone, so I cannot show multitasking as advantage.

So, what should I show to them? :) Something really good about having an Android, especially running on 1GHz Snapdragon!

Obviously would be some Flash websites (any good examples which Flash on Android would works "best?").

And I will also show "games emulator", which one are best for this kind of "demo"?

Google voice to text translator? I have never seen this and dont know how it works actually ...

Of course they will show how fluid the iPhone interface, or games ... I don't know much about iPhone good side, except its fluid interface.

My only hope now the HTC Desire will not get delayed (pre-ordered already via clove.co.uk).

Get the ExZeus demo. As far as 3D games go, it looks pretty good. For other (non-3D but still pretty) games, grab the demos of Buka, Totemo, and maybe Radiant.

Turn brightness all the way up. Hold your screen next to an iPhone and the iPhone will suddenly look like a washed-out piece of shit (which it is) while you have pleasing, vibrant colors. Show off some live wallpapers. Apart from the stock ones, I recommend "Shake them all" from the market (Android dolls that react to touch and have gravity physics). Google gesture search too, while you're at it.

Pinch your homescreen to leap into seven homescreen overview. No amount of jailbreaking will let an iFail do that. Could also turn off your screen, turn it on again, and unlock. With Sense, you should see a neat animated weather effect when you do this. (Extra effective if there's thunder.) Oh, and in the browser, if you highlight text, you can get the options to look up that term on wikipedia or translate it into another language.

Sure you can. Your phone can multi-task and customize out of the box. Theirs can't. It's an important distinction that, if your friends are as tech-savvy as you say they are, they should recognize. If not, then they aren't all that knowledgeable.

Why do you need to show them anything? I don't get this smartphone one-upmanship that seems prevalent everywhere. Stop beating around the bush and just bust out the tape measure if you have to. :D
He is, he's just trying to get measurements showing that he has iphone beat in length AND girth.

Edit: Just don't get them out to show them side by side. The iphone will likely either go completely flaccid and turn inside-out, or become completely erect when introduced to your Android... neither of which will be a good thing.

Why cant we have some fun heh?

This is not for fighting or that I will prepare some gadget war with my friends ...

Discussing this "differences" in a fun way would be the best to describe.

Oh and this is "Android" forums, I don't think I did something terrible by requesting this kind of information. I want to educate myself by knowing all the advantages of my next Android device. And this very forum is the best source.

Why? Because by knowing this advantages, I would be able to give advise to other people about Android device. Hopefully they would convert.

I used to give advise to people about Windows Mobile, help them to choose device and answering questions. And I want to be able to do this for Android!

By the way, I would like to thanks for all suggestions and waiting for more :)
