Help A few majorly annoying bugs - Should I just Factory reset?

Got my S3 the week after release, and I'm a wee bit disappointed. It seems like a truly incredible phone, but some majorly annoying bugs are ruining my experience

1 - Only getting part or half of a ringtone

2 - When the screen is black, and I press the key at the side, the lock screen takes an AGE (okay, 1 or 2 seconds) to appear rather than instantly. Very very annoying if I just pull my phone out my pocket for the time

3 - I was texting 4/5 people at one time fairly intensively....the phone messed up and kept sending a load of old messages as well as the new ones. Hasn't done this since though

4 - My ringtone is now occasionally totally disappearing, and the vibration is no more than a nanosecond!

Should I just do the factory reset or is it unlikely to solve these problems? I suppose all I can lose is apps - Contacts are on Google and music/pics are on SD card

It's worth nothing my mate also has the ringtone glitch from time to time. I get it constantly though.

Thanks!

Try restarting the phone now. Then put it to charge and then restart it one or two more times. I had some tiny issues which were fixed by restarts and charging and no factory reset.

If problem still exists tomorrow, yes definitely factory reset!

If that doesn't fix the problem check Via KIES for Firmware update. I assume you are not rooted and not using custom kernels.

If after all this you still have glitches speak to the people who sold you the phone and try to get a replacement or ask them to wipe your phone and place you a new firmware. (Do not forget to back up your contacts and other data)!

EDIT: if all this doesn't help go to the main page http://androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-s3/
and find your operator or use international and educate yourself and place a new custom kernel, firmware and etc.
I read very good comments about this one: http://androidforums.com/international-galaxy-s3-all-things-root/565111-siyah-kernel.html

but you may void your warranty or at least you will increase the kernel counter and will need to reset it in the future. Just read everything there is about rooting, custom kernels and consequences.

If this helps you please press the thanks button.
