Due to the overwhelming response in this forum regarding the new Share Everything Plans, I have decided to do some research, and prepare a guide with everything that you might want to know regarding the plan, and what your options are going forward. This information comes from the Verizon Training Guide.
Plan Basics:
Monthly Line Access Fee – This is what you pay for each device on your plan. Included in this fee is access to unlimited minutes, unlimited texts, and free hotspot usage for any eligible devices (uses your data allotment however).
Smartphones: $40
Basic Phones: $30
Jetpacks/Netbooks/Notebooks/USB Modem cards: $20
Tablets: $10
Monthly Account Access Fee – This is basically what I refer to as your Data bucket. Its how much data you will be allotted per month that you share among all your devices.
300 MB: $40 (One Device)
1 GB: $50
2 GB: $60
4 GB: $70
6 GB: $80
8 GB: $90
This continues on up to 30GB, adding $10 for every 2 GB more you want. If you want 20GB, $150, 30GB, it is $200.
If you go over your data allowance, you are subject to a $15 per GB charge. Let me make a recommendation. Verizon provides free text messages with data usage warnings when you hit 50, 75, and 100% of your usage for the month. If you are on track to use more than your allowance, and don’t have the ability to cut back, call Verizon, and bump your plan for that month. You can always call back the next month and have it reduced if it was just a fluke, but this simple action will save you $5.
**Special Plan Pricing: There seems to be one special plan included under the Share Everything plan structure, for extremely low data users with a smartphone. This still requires unlimited minutes and texts, but has only 300MB of data added for $40. So for a single smartphone user, the total plan cost would be $80. But I am not 100% clear on this plan, so please contact Verizon CSR if you are interested. This plan is only valid for a single line.

Here is some extra details regarding the implementation of this plan for New and Existing Customers.
New Verizon Customers:
**ALL New Verizon customers will be forced onto the new Share Everything Plan. Even single lines must use this plan. This means, that for someone moving to Verizon to buy a smartphone, they have no choice but to buy an unlimited minute and text plan. That means that the minimum plan price on Verizon for a single line new customer with a smartphone is $90 ($40 Line Access fee + $50 for 1GB). *(Unless the Special Plan pricing above is valid, and then you can get a 300MB allowance for $80 total)
Existing Verizon Customers:
For existing customers, Verizon is not forcing you to change anything. You may keep the plan you are on, with the data features you have, etc (With the exception of unlimited data when upgrading at subsidized price). Here are some extra details applying to existing customers:
Corporate Discounts:If you switch to the Share Everything plan, your corporate discount will only apply to the Account Access fee (ie Data Bucket). It will not apply to the Line Access Fee for each device. So if you have two smartphones, and a 4GB data bucket, your discount will be X% off of the $70 Account Access fee, and you will receive no discount for the 2 $40 line access fees for each smartphone.
Special Account Pricing or Discounts: If you have a special discount (ie $9.99 Data plan, double data promo, etc.) you will lose it by switching over to Share Everything.
Add a line: If you need to add a line, you are free to do so without having to transfer to a Share Everything plan. If you are adding a smartphone line, you will have to choose from the old tiered plans (2GB for $30, 5GB for $50, etc.) - Thanks Doit2it
Unlimited Data:After June 28th, you can no longer retain your unlimited plan when buying a phone under subsidized pricing. Also you will lose your unlimited data if you switch your plan over to a Share Everything plan. But here are some extra details on the unlimited data feature treatment.
You may KEEP your unlimited data IF:
n You buy a phone at full retail price from Verizon and add it to your line.
n You buy a used phone from a third party and add it to your line
n You buy a CPO phone (unsubsidized) from a Verizon Store location which offers them.
n You upgrade at the subsidized price on another line, then transfer that phone over to your unlimited line. (However you cannot transfer your upgrade from the unlimited line to another line, this will cause you to lose unlimited data).
Buying a subsidized phone means you WILL lose your unlimited, however you are NOT required to sign up for the Share Everything Plan at that time. Instead you may choose to be signed up for the 2GB for $30 plan.
Also, if you decide to give up your unlimited plan, and buy a subsidized phone, but change your mind and return it within 14 days, you WILL be able to get your unlimited data back.
