But I think I like GB better than ICS. Never mind that I haven't yet flashed a polished ICS, Ive actually run some great builds on my EVO. But I just think ICS looks and feels like a step backwards. To me ICS reminds me of an old blackberry OS.. Maybe I just need to give it more of a chance, but the widgets are poor and lacking, and and the menus look and feel old. Plus every ICS build Ive tried on my note has had a fatal flaw somewhere. The last one I tried, black star, everything I restored or downloaded from the market never made it into the app drawer. The Only One rom I flashed, no network at all. Im gonna flash this last suggestion from Mr. ED then im gonna sit back and wait on the official.

I tried the older OnlyOne and had no issues.

I have been using the Team Perfection rom over the last 2 weeks. The newest kernel has now been added, but the dev made a mistake creating the lock screen wallpaper, which he will fix today. He also forgot to add SuperU.

Wait until this evening sometime and give the Team Perfection rom a try. Been my daily driver, and if those two issues I mentioned above bother you then wait until tonight. Otherwise, you can flash SuperU yourself using CWM, and stick to the stock lock screen and give it a try right now.

Hey fellow ex EVO owner.

I will say that official ics kills any of the unofficial ics builds for the simple fact that everything works flawlessly. It's like the difference between running aosp on the EVO and aosp on the galaxy nexus

Everything's faster, smoother, and just feels right

Rxpert83, you on the note now?

RedDot, it almost has to be something with your phone itself or the way you are flashing. You have used some good roms, that while they may have an issue here and there, you shouldn't be seeing the issues you described.
