Twice now I've gone to pick up my g1 and found it dead. No life, even if I plug in a charger there is no charging light.

Removing and replacing battery bring up the t-mobile logo, but it never gets to the android on skateboard screen.

The only way I have managed to boot is to do a wipe/reset on the boot menu. And then of course restore my data/apps. (MybackupPro)

Has anyone else experienced this, or know of a solution?

Will that google logger thing help?

Have not had this happen ... but since you are using Cyanogen builds .. you should use the Nandroid Backup and Restore ... built In to the Recovery ver 1.4 ... faster, easier, and more complete than MyBackup Pro ...

I use both ...

I am not running any theme with this ... in the past I have found the themes to cause lagging ... and I only use a Clock/Weather Widget ...

Well the thing about nandroid backup is you need to reboot to backup, mybackuppro does this automatically for me :)

Ill see how things progress. If it hangs again I might go for another rom,

I do wonder if its an application that's causing a conflict.......

Well, my advice on Nandroid is based on Using MyBackup Pro to restore before Nandroid was available ...

You will find that to restore apps you will need to do them one at a time ... for me that was 300+ apps ...and say 500-600 app settings.... not fun ... put you do what you have to do ....

Nandroid is maybe 5 minutes and everything is back just like it was ...
