yay! im so excited and so sick of waiting, but this gives me some hope!! mine says the same !!! im so upset my hubby got his ICS like a week or two ago... he has the razr

Considering the storms that went through- (Ohio) and lousy 4G service today; could mean anything. Went through this with the original Moto Droid- promises and delays- really hoped it wouldn't be this way this time. Figure I'll wait a little longer and then just take the plunge and root the phone.

Might have gone with a different phone btw but the Rezound- which I like- ended up costing me zero bucks and couldn't pass that up.

I went into Settings and then Software Update. I notice it says that the server is unavailable. Does this mean it's coming soon?

Yeah, it's been down for quite a while now. Makes you wonder if either Verizon's having an issue or they're prepping the update...?

FWIW my friend's RAZR and my wife's Droid 2 do not display this same error. I don't know if that is indicative of anything, but I sure hope it is.

Same Here... was hanging at "Checking for new software..." for a while there, with no error.

Now "No new software..."

I haven't upgraded to ICS and my phone is totally stock. But for some reason, all of a sudden, my BT doesn't work either. It may (or may not) connect for the music streaming, but it refuses to connect the phone part. Just an FYI. In case it's not really ICS, but something else.

Hmm, maybe I need to go try it on another car. But yeah, I swear it was the same day that I installed the Leak that it just won't connect. The phone itself doesn't 'see' the car when it searches for devices, so I don't think it's a problem with the car.

Has been saying that on mine for the longest time (months). Also says that on my daughters Rhyme as well. Though as I just checked it it actually worked, it said 'no new software' but no 'server error' message.

Apparently not. A friend of mine just upgraded his RAZR MAXX and is loving ICS.

Just because the "network down error" no longer rears its confusing head does not mean that there is no update scheduled for the next 24-72 hours.

In fact, it doesn't mean ANYTHING.

At least, not for us Rezound owners specifically.

I'm not saying it does mean anything but mine has been giving server errors for at least 2 months now. Def unrelated to storms

Inc had pre-htc dev hack. Now it's pretty much all htc dev unless something else came out that I'm unaware of. So they're not blocking root anymore since the bootloader can be unlocked by their own tool.

Ugh, I am so tired of this waiting. Galaxy Nexus still sucks (just tried it--it's signal strength is crap, even after all the updates).

I know there is a guide probably available but I have no idea how to find it... I'm not ready to root my phone just yet but I think I remember people saying that they have been able to flash the latest leak for the Rezound. Anyone have a guide or know where I can find one?

Also, since I would not be rooting with the latest release, should I be able to upgrade without a problem to the official release when it comes out?
