Spare parts and 2.1..?

the only thing I have seen that I didn't like was the built in process manager. When set to aggressive it kills things that it shouldn't. I personally would just leave that feature alone. Just remember that it changes settings that you can't access thru the main menus so if you change something, then uninstall the program you have no way to change it back. And yes the END key feature is for 1.5 only. (just like it says LOL)

I didn't have any luck. The only thing I really found useful in spare parts was the ability to change what the end key does. And if you recall the settings button for that option specifically says for 1.5 only. But of course I had to push it anyways..rendering the end button useless! Only fix was to do a factory reset.

You are wrong my friend, no need for a reset. I ran into that issue myself, All you have to do is go back into spare parts, and change the End Button behavior back to the original way...

I personally like the ability to turn off things like fancy rotation and transitions. I think it helps the phone run smoother. I may be missing where it is, but I haven't found those options elsewhere on the phone.

there is a animation settings, but it only gives you the option to have all, some, or none. spare parts gives slightly more control. I use it more for the info it provides you than the actual settings you can change.
