My HTC HD2 Android 4 stays on boot animation forever...
No reaction pressing any botton.
To stop booting i have to take battery out.
If i reboot pressing the "volume down" button it shows:
PB81100 HX-BC
SPL-22.08.HSPL 8G XE
...
But no prompt, no interactivity... again battery off...
Any help?
thx...
hi
some advice from a newbie who ran into that problem a number of times...
if it's a dual boot from WinMo 6.5, try upgrading WinMo 6.5 using the htc-provided rom, the newest version fitting your device (some may refuse to install, don't give up, try another one from their website) using their website and Win desktop mobile sync centre
once it's done, put the android rom on your class 4 or class 10 or higher sd card in a folder (give it a short name, e.g. jelly) created on that card, make sure it has all the files there, then from WinMo file explorer click clrcad (you may or may not see a confirmation dialogue), then haret.
wait for up to 30 minutes, one reboot may be necessary
reformatting your sd card or removing Android/data/... (...=whatever's inside !) before you do anything else (i.e. before or after you upgrade your WinMo) might help.
if this doesn't work replace the Android rom with another one
hope it helps
