he kept the release quite since he got so much shit for doing what the rest of the dev over on xda do (relased to paid donators)

Oh yeah I read all of that debacle...I can't believe the way it all went down. Well hope I didn't step on any toes. Just thought I would poke around and ask questions while waiting for the public release.

it was just the fact that a bunch of people were donating just to get a hold of his 2.0 rom

Oh no I know that's what it was all about. I had to bite my tongue many times when I read through those threads, so many haters. I wish I knew more about how all this works so i could do the ingenious things that flipz and all the other devs do. If it weren't for them I'd still be rockin' the blackberry.

I just started using it today and I must say it's super sweet! The video mentioned shows all of the features so be sure to check that out.

I have run into an issue building a custom ROM, but I don't think it's kitchen related... it probably has more to do with me being a moron sometimes. ;) I'm doing a nandroid restore right now to fix the issue and I'll try again tomorrow.

I found the new interface way sweet. Much better than the old kitchen. I'm (obviously) a donater so I got it early but I hope it's released to everyone soon so we can all start rockin' it and sharing tips here.

All in all, another great release from Flipz. Lovin' it!

Not sure what I did last night but my nandoird backup worked (thank goodness!). I tried to cook a custom ROM using the kitchen and then I used kitchen to copy to the SD card and boot me into recovery. After wiping from recovery and flashing the ROM I kept getting force close on all kinds of stuff at startup. I found a tip to clear the dev and boot caches but that didn't work either. I'm planning on trying again but wondering if anyone has any ideas where I went wrong.

Other than my issues the new kitchen is sweet. :)

New Kitchen is out for all!

What do you guys think? Personally I LOVE the new auto update feature. Hopefully Fresh will keep it loaded with some sick themes and such.

I haven't had the chance to play with it, being that I'm on 2.1 and set pretty much the way I want it to be...but the auto update feature is going to help a lot.

I might change my bootscreen with it, just for the fun of it lol
