Guys, I hope the guy who told me is wrong but, I have a good source (since I work for vzw I went to one of the big guys) and he told he has NO idea of release date for this phone, but he confirmed the phone is coming to us, he always think the phone will NOT be released before may and he thinks for what he heard it will be around June. Again, he doesn't know anything for sure, it is just he thoughts about the Incredible, he could be wrong but we all have to wait to find out for sure!

Hearing everyone talk.....I just thought this was funny. Apparently tonight no one else thinks my posts are funny. I'm just trying to entertain myself because I am very let down by the news or lack thereof. I have nothing BUT respect for those guys. I just think Verizon got blindsided today and since I am a customer, well, I just don't like losing!

Kinda makes sense as to them not announcing today. I was really hoping for it to be announced today like everyone else. But think about this, yeah it would have been cool if they announced it and took the spot light from Sprint. But I think Verizon is going to announce within the first 2 hours of tomorrow. That way it takes away all the hype from Sprint and if NKT is right with the same specs as the EVO but a smaller form factor with AMOLED....yeah that will take the cake on the award.

I hit up my sources today after I had a few drink to calm down and they are pretty much shocked as we all are. One was calling his Corp rep that showed him the phone and allowed him to try it out, guess what he was put right into voice mail. I have called my own corp reps and was put right into voice mail myself.

I am going to wait till tomorrow then see what happens.

You know what.. I live near San Francisco (big city - lots of tech people here), and work in San Francisco. Everyday that I drive into the city, I see 3 huge Droid billboards - every bus still has Droid ads on the side of them (both in SF, and in the surrounding areas around my city) and I also am still seeing Droid commercials. It almost seems like VZW is not ready to give up on riding the Droid until the wheels fall off.

Woop, I know how you feel! Every day I drive off the bay bridge I see this huge DROID billboard. At first I am envious, but then I remember that I will be getting a much better device hopefully very soon...

See, now June. F this. Can anyone provide me with proof that the Incredible really exists as a Verizon phone? I have seen pictures, read specs and saw video, but I am starting to think that maybe it was the EVO the whole time. Remember the first video (guy in a Sprint shirt)? I am beginning to believe that Verizon has placed all of its eggs in the Motorola Droid basket for the whole year. I have seen a steady flow of Droid commercials tonight!

Speaking of Verizon commercials...

I remember a commercial that was touting some new smartphone, maybe it was the droid.... A guy is running around trying to find signal, and he stumbles upon the network as he trying to make a call....

Guess what phone hes using..... THE SAMSUNG I760! THE SAME PHONE IN MY POCKET!!!!

RAWRRRRRRRRRRRRRAWR GRUMBLE GRUMBLE

I feel more like the guy depicted in the FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU pic every second

Sounds like a plan. We should all go to the Incredible GoogleWave and drink together. How about an invite (and yes I posted in the other thread but never received an invite :()

Everyone calm down. The second box was for the incredible, if it will still be called that. You don't have two boxes to reveal the same device, when you could of easily done the same thing with one. The second box wasn't even reported to be occupied by anything until a little while after when they just threw another evo in there.

Verizon was surprised sprint announced a device that wasn't even ready for a release until months later. Tomorrow is the day.

I think they better care because they are about to lose a lot more than just 2 customers. My bet is their are thousands of us that will leave Verizon for the same reason.

Politely disagree. I'm not saying no one leaves VZ, but those who do are few and far between. Those with VZ already know we MAY be paying a little more, but we're with them for the service, and I have found almost no one leaves VZ, whatever the reason. - just MY observation of those I talked to.

I'm a long time Verizon subscriber, but....EVO on Sprint just might change all that.

Verizon just doesn't seem to give a s**t about it's customers or it's phones. Sprint has a stellar phone and a 4G/WIMAX network NOW!

If "..it's all about the network.", then they can keep it. Sorry for the attitude but I'm holding a BB 8330 from Verizon and I haven't seen anything better in 2 years!

Amen! I'm in the same boat as you!

why go to AT&T and get an iPhone...they havent had any new phones either...just might want to think before giving up the network :(

How many people know for a fact that Verizon's network is really that much more superior? I mean how many have used all the other networks to know that Verizon is just so much better that there is no other possible choice? I can tell you for fact that Verizon claims coverage where they do not have it. Verizon is great at tell us how much better their network is. So much so that we seem to believe there is no other network to choose.

Oh and when you look on Verizon's site at their comparision of 3G networks guess who is #2? That's right Sprint and they do cover a lot of the major population centers around the country. Coverage Locator - Verizon Wireless. That doesn't take into account that some of that for Sprint is providing 4G too. So I pose that if Verizon themselves are saying that Sprint is #2 in coverage and there are parts of Verizon's maps that aren't really covered like they claim how far off are they really?

It's ultimately each person's choice but my opinion is that I'm not buying all the marketing hype Verizon puts into it's network supremacy. Sure it's better but I don't believe it's that much better that I have to put up with lesser phones and pay more on top for it. Now if they offer the phones and the network then it a no brainer.

My .02 anyway.

Ummm...I must say the that 24.95 deal on amazon is looking better and better on the Droid..

Maybe even a rooted #$%^^ Eris for free? ummm.... :p

Just pokin the bear.. :D

Umm....Iphone? ...

I'm kind of thinking along the same lines. I'm still on my Dare from 2 years ago, works fine for what it is but I'm due for something new (NE2 came up on 3/10). I'll at least wait out the week and reconsider just grabbing a Droid then if they don't announce anything. Otherwise I may just drop the whole idea for awhile and look at phones in July when my VZW contract is up and I have a bit more freedom to choose something new and available!

Those were obviously 2 different phones, trackpad, contoured back, Verizon splash screen, verizon branding on the back plate......now you're just getting paranoid that it's all a big conspiracy. That's a little rediculous

NKT has seen the phone branded with Verizon, the leaked video from February shows Verizon Wireless in the notification bar, there have been pictures of the back of the phone with the Verizon logo on the bottom right.

I am inclined to think they are separate phones since the EVO does not have the optical trackball
