Notification Light

I just got my Razr Maxx and two things I haven't figured out.

One the notification light blinks like I have a notification but there is nothing there? When I pull down the notification bar nothing is there and it clears the status light. I use Yahoo Mail App and have turned off notifications so I am unsure what it could be.

Its kind of annoying, any ideas??

Two, what is the difference between the blue 3/4g status and the white 3/4g status? When the colors change could that trigger the notification issue?

Lastly when I plugged in my HTC phone the LED would indicate if it was charging or full charge does the Maxx not have this feature? When I plug it in and the screen is off I have no indication until I turn the screen on if the battery is fully charged. I just wanted to know if this was normal.

Blue means actively receiving data through 3/4g. White means you're not.

I've had bugs from Facebook, and then from Yahoo email.

Blue for Facebook, purple for Yahoo.

Both apps were buggy, Yahoo being the buggiest. The last Facebook app update seems to have cleared its problem ( from Facebook IMs) but Yahoo was when I had a second email account, set to NOT notify me. When I deleted the not notifying account from the Yahoo email app, the purple one stopped annoying me.

The MAXX doesn't use the LED to report charging. There is an app called BattmonX (written by a staff member here!.."scary alien") that I have beeen using for some time. It is highly configurable to provide different color LED notifications for charging, fully charged, etc. Find it in the market.... errr Google Play store.

Thanks Sharon. Mine's doing the same thing, purple-ish led. At least now I know what's causing it.

Light Flow Lite is also a great LED configurator. You can set it to blink certain color for charging and another for charged over threshold (i.e. 90%) and I believe also for fully charged (although that might just be over 99%). And of course you can override the LED setting for any app that has notifications.
