Root PDroid on Motorola Triumph?

Has anyone successfully installed the PDroid patch on their Triumph? I've tried patching several CM7 mods using the auto_patcher script on Mac and the PDroid Windows patcher. All I get is the Motorola logo followed by a black screen which eventually reboots.

Yeah, I'm kinda fundamentally against that kind of thing. If I don't like the ads, then I don't use the app.

Or try to build it myself

CM7 has built in permission management support. You have to enable it in the cm settings, then go into manage apps and click on the permission you wish to deny it and it will cross it out!
I've used the permission management in CM7, but it usually ends up crashing an app when I change permissions.

I was under the understanding that PDroid allows you to change permissions without an app crashing.

I only used PDroid briefly on AOKP before reverting back to g60 CM7 because I felt more comfortable with a stable rom. (On a sidenote, I was really impressed with AOKP.) The patch seemed to work fine, however.

If anyone has any input how to get the patch working, please let me know.
