Root Newest 2.1 OTA ROOT version released.

Just installed the ota2.1rom and wireless tether is seeming to work pretty fine.. used my 03 backup so I wouldn't loose any of my apps.

Do you know if there's a way to delete the back ups.. I currently have 3 for the 03 rom and now realising I don't need quit so many.
Just delete the folder of the back up you don't want.

Awesome. I haven't been able to install yet :-( work shmirk. Can anyone confirm whether this fixes the cell standby bug? I know people were having the same issue with the original leak.
The following seem fixed for me:
Cell standby, Messages app bug, and gmail login issues. :D

i havent tested the google voice calling issue. that could be an app problem. someone want to test that?

Dont shot me for asking this as I know its dumb but just want to make sure. But do you need to have ROOT already for this ROM or can you go from 1.5 to this? If not, do you just use the rooted leak and then go to this ROM? Sorry again for n00b rooting question

If you arent scared, I'd flash to the 2.1ROOT release(not the "leak", but the ROOT). Flash the recovery image, then flash GrdLock's latest release.

If you're scared, I'd just wait...flashing without root leaves you quite stranded if things dont go your way (no recovery image to do backups etc)

Wish me luck! Since the guide that is on here is so simple, I have decided to take the plunge. I may even stay a few hours after work since Im doing this all at work, lol

Just so you know, if you're talking about a nand or BART restore, and you did one from your 03 backup, then your ROM is now 0_3 again.

I hope you mean like MyBackup or something!
